Known locally as the “Flight of Angels” — a scenic helicopter flight over Victoria Falls, the gorges and the Zambezi, in 15, 22 or 25-minute options.
This is the flight most people picture when they imagine Victoria Falls from above — a wide loop over the falls, the zigzagging gorges below the bridge, and the Zambezi as it winds upstream. Nicknamed the “Flight of Angels” after a phrase used by early visitors describing the view.
Flights depart from a helipad close to the Falls, with three duration options — the shorter flight covers the falls and the main gorge, while the longer options extend further along the river and, depending on route, over parts of the national park.
Flights operate in daylight hours and are subject to weather; the operator will advise on rescheduling if conditions aren't suitable on the day.
